Mama Nem's Story

If mama ain't happy...we don't serve it.

What started as a memory of cooking in the kitchen with my mom, has now turned into an eating experience. We don't hold back, we go hard in the kitchen. At Mama Nem's we've been cooking and creating for years...using the freshest ingredients and recipes that have been passed down and cultivated for years. We believe that food is an essential and vital element to our everyday existence...it's comfort, love and if done right...delicious.

Mama's Gumbo
Trinity vegetables, andouille sausage, blackened chicken and shrimp, served over rice w/cheddar biscuit.​

A heaping pile of shrimp (choose fried or blackened), lettuce, tomato and tangy remoulade served on a crusty french hoagie roll.

Fresh cut collards, cooked with smoked turkey and a pepper medley of seasonings

Blackened Chicken with trinity vegetables, black beans, white corn, monterey jack cheese and a kiss of creole. Served with our house made awesome sauce.
